Thịt lợn rửa sạch, để ráo, thái miếng con chì. Ướp thịt với 1/2 thìa cà phê muối, 1/2 thìa cà phê tiêu khoảng 5 phút cho thịt ngấm.
Trộn 250gr bột mì với nước để được hỗn hợp bột sền sệt. Nhúng thịt qua hỗn hợp bột trên.
Thịt đã nhúng qua bột thì mang đi chiên giòn. Làm sốt chua ngọt gồm 250ml sốt cà chua, 50g đường, 1 ít nước, 1 ít muối.
Đun sôi sốt khoảng 2 -3 phút thì cho thơm và hành tây vào đảo cho chín. Sau cùng bạn thêm thịt chiên vào đảo thêm khoảng 30 giây cho quyện sốt là hoàn thành.
